Deborah Fisher

LMHCA, Psychotherapist

We all need help at times. Asking for it is a vulnerable, brave act that takes courage and self-knowledge.

Whether you've experienced trauma, are navigating difficult life transitions, or are struggling with questions about identity, belonging, meaning and purpose, therapy can help. There is great restoration and power to be had in openly and honestly sharing your story with someone else.

Welcome to this space. Please take a closer look at my approach to therapy, who I am and what to expect when you reach out to me.

I wish you well on your journey.

My approach to therapy is to walk-alongside you with kindness and respect to help bring clarity and hope. To offer a space where you can talk, process, heal, and dream. And where you also feel encouraged to make the changes necessary to align your life with the values and goals you hold most dear. Each person is worthy of an approach that best meets their needs. As such I approach therapy eclectically and fluidly. [Read more here]

I know firsthand the importance of finding and working with the right therapist, and that it may take a few attempts. To allow opportunity for you to 'meet' me and preliminarily ascertain whether we will be a good fit, feel free to contact me for a free initial telephone consultation.

At your first scheduled appointment, we will talk about your history, what led you to seek therapy, and what you hope to achieve during our time together. If it becomes apparent to you, or I, that your best interests might be better served by another therapist, I will offer appropriate referrals. [Read more here]
